Lawton is having fun with his Grandparents!

Lawton had fun playing with his Grandma and Grandmpa Waldbart while Mommy and Daddy were at the hospital. He got to go to Charlestowne Landing a local State Park. He also enjoyed his playtime with Grandma Nickerson. We went to the Farmer's Market downtown and also to the aquarium. We were all sad to see them go home.

Alexis Michelle has Arrived

Alexis arrived on September 7th, 2009 at 3:33pm. She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces. She was 19 inches long. She was born on Labor Day and my mom's birthday! We went home after 24 hours and everyone is healthy. Lawton has adapted well to being a big brother! We are very proud of him.

My friends from work had a surprise baby shower for me last week. Below is a picture of the diaper cake and display board. Also, a picture of me 2 and half weeks before my due date.

We have had a busy month of August. Jacob's sister Elizabeth and his Mom came to Charleston to visit each for a week. We enjoyed their company. We have also been finishing up a few projects around the house! Jacob is doing a great job.

Family Vacation to Bryson City, NC

We met my family in the mountains for a long weekend in Bryson City, NC. It was perfect! We went hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains and saw three waterfalls. We went kayaking in Lake Fontana. And the majority of the group went rafting down the Nantahala River! Thanks Joe for helping us with all of our activities! Its an awesome place to getaway, especially for the fall! Lawton had a great time playing with my cousins and we can't wait to get back up there this November!

July 4th Weekend

My parents came to Charleston for a long weekend of fun! We went to the beach, cooked out, shot off fireworks, went to the pool and the aquarium. Lawton once again had a blast playing with Grandma and Papa. It took Lawton about 30 minutes to warm up to the fireworks, he said "they are noisy" so we took him inside to watch and he was saying "hooray Papa, hooray Daddy, more rockets, more colors, more fireworks!!!" It was really cute. And our front room is officially a study. We need to touch up the paint on the french doors and put the trimming in place!
